M.T. a Runner-up! Playboy Jazz Poll
M.T. Glass is a runner-up for the “best jazz instrumentalist” in the Playboy Jazz poll. From his Hobe Sound Villa, M.T. told reporters that at least one person voted for him. That’s enough to make him a runner-up in one of America’s most prestigious Jazz Surveys. M.T. added,”I’m honored to be in the same group with so many of the greatest names in jazz. I hope we all get invited to the Mansion — my wife’s always wanted to see the place.”
Best of the Best
Tthe Castle Yacht Club in Delran, and the Bradford Estate in Hainesport will list MT ”Best of the Best 2012″ in Specialty Entertainment. The directory will be officially unveiled in June, and is slated to recognize outstanding quality and value in categories such as florists, officiants, photographers, DJ’s, limo services, and more.
G.E.M. Award Winner
In April, M.T. was honored by the Garden State Association of Agents and Promoters (GSAAP). He received their highly respected GEM (General Excellence in Music) Award in the Keyboard category.
Doctorate Degree to M.T. Glass
A Doctor of Music dergree has been awarded to M.T. Glass by the faculty of GDU – General Delivery University. These degrees are difficult to earn. Those seeking the honor must log-in to the University’s website, find the appropriate subject area, download the degree file, log-out, and — finally — print the degree using their own software and printer! Interviewed just after receiving the degree, M.T. said, “It’s a tedious process. I’m just glad it’s over.”
